ORLANDO, Fla. (March 13, 2025) - Women's tennis suffered their first defeat since February 17 on Thursday, falling to the Division I Davidson Wildcats 6-1. The Tars now stand at 7-4 on the year while the Wildcats improve to 9-3.
Davidson started the day with a sweep of doubles.

Milla Falster succumbed to a 6-2 effort from Kavya Patel/Daniela Porges on one while
Stella Fruijtier/
Polina Vlasova dropped court three 6-4 against Ellie Hammond/Alex Rodehorst. The Wildcats also captured court two, though the match was a real humdinger. Team Amina fought hard for Rollins, but eventually lost in a tiebreak 7-6 (2) to Savanna Kollock/Bryson Langford.
Court two was the first to finish in singles as Kollock defeated
Amina Taibi 6-1, 6-4. Falster was the next to dispatch her opponent, taking court five with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Ines Roti to pull Rollins within one.
Unfortunately, the Wildcats earned the win on the remaining four courts to close out the 6-1 win.
Nancy Liu and Kavya Patel were locked in to a fun one on the featured court, with Patel eventually disposing of Liu, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.
It'll be a week before the Tars hit the court again. It will be a big conference matchup as the Tars welcome the Embry-Riddle Eagles to Orlando for a duel at 3:30 pm on March 20 from the USTA National Campus.
