Arnhold Named SSC Offensive Player of the Week

Sophomore was key in Tars' upset of #1 Lynn on Saturday

ORLANDO, Fla. (October 20, 2025) - The Sunshine State Conference announced their athletes of the week for games played October 13-19 on Monday afternoon. Among the winners was Rollins sophomore Tim Arnhold, who was named the men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

The German was a spark plug for the Tars in their two matches last week. Against Eckerd on Wednesday, Arnhold displayed tremendous vision and footwork with a slick pass through the box to an open Hayden Judge to help Rollins score their first man-down goal of the match that would eventually end in a 3-3 draw.

The highlight of the week came in Saturday's showdown with #1 ranked and reigning national champion Lynn. Facing a 2-1 deficit with less than 30 minutes to play, Arnhold was the recipient of a perfect header from Tolu Junaid. Playing off the pass, Arnhold blasted home the equalizer goal in the 69th minute.

He wasn't done. Only four minutes later, it was Junaid once again feeding his teammate with a pass into the 18-yard box. Arnhold was masterful with his ballhandling, finding space by faking out two different defenders and the keeper with his pump fakes. He eventually found enough daylight to rip a screamer into the right side of the net to put Rollins up 3-2. The Tars would eventually slay the giant with a 4-3 win, handing the Knights their first loss in 32 games.

Arnhold started both matches, and totaled 103 minutes on the pitch. This is his first career SSC Player of the Week award.
