ROME, Ga. (October 16, 2025) - Women's tennis sophomore
Alyssa Novoa made her mark in the opening round of the annual ITA Cup on Thursday, defeating Renske Ubachs of Washburn University to advance to the quarterfinals.
The ITA Cup is an invite-only annual event that brings th best-of-the-best in each division of collegiate tennis together to crown an individual champion at each level. "I am proud of Alyssa representing our program at this prestigious tournament," stated head coach
Tasi Purcell Batista. "She has been working very hard, and it's amazing to be able to be here with her."
