Cambridge, Mass. – Rollins competed in the Women's ACC Round 2 over the weekend, hosted by Harvard on the Charles River. The showcase regatta featured 420s in a two-division scoring format and brought together a 16-team field, and saw 14 races completed. Saturday opened with light easterly conditions that built to 4–7 knots once the convergence on the Charles broke through, allowing for steady, competitive racing throughout the day. Sunday brought a stronger ENE breeze at 9–16 knots, creating tighter competition and close finishes across both divisions.
The Tars finished sixth overall with 196 total points (137 in A Division, 59 in B). Rollins' B Division crew delivered one of the most consistent performances of the weekend, posting top-10 finishes in every race to help push the Tars into the top half of the standings. Skipper Annie Samis and crew Jane McKenzie tallied 10 top-five finishes, including a race win in the fourth.
In A, Rollins rotated combinations of Shay Bridge (skipper), Adelaide Matzky (skipper/crew), and Maggie Burnham (crew), collecting eight top-10 results and closing Sunday with four top-five finishes across the final five races.
Rollins returns to the water next weekend, Oct. 18–19, hosting the Lake Virginia Invitational on home waters in Winter Park.
