LEXINGTON, KY (July 17, 2024) — The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced today that more than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball teams have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT this season. The award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.

A total of 1,425 high school and collegiate teams earned the award this year. It is the 14th consecutive year that Rollins has been recognized for their achievements in the classroom. Rollins was joined by fellow SSC members Barry, Eckerd, Florida Tech, Lynn, Nova Southeastern, and Palm Beach Atlantic on the list.
