TAMPA, Fla. (October 25, 2024) – The Rollins women's swim team got the 2024-25 season underway on Friday with a tri-meet against No. 7 Tampa NCAA I No. 3 Florida hosted by the Spartans. The Blue and Gold fell to Tampa, 215-47, and to the Gators, 160-94.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Madison Patel earned a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking a time of 58.94.
- Amelia Kondal added a fifth-place result in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.59.
- Elizabeth Sander took fourth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:11.15), with Avery Bannerton close behind in fifth place (2:15.07).
- Patel also clocked a 58.06 in the 100-yard butterfly to finish fifth.
- Rollins capped the day with a fifth-place time of 1:40.61 in the 200-yard freestyle relay, with Patel, Sarah Brown, Sander, and Kondal swimming in the event.
