MELBOURNE, Fla. (Nov. 19, 2023) – The Rollins men's swimming team earned 220 points on Sunday for a meet total of 661.5 points to finish fifth at the Panther Invitational. Indian River State won the event with 1190.5 points, followed by Florida Southern (631.5 points) and St. Thomas (513.5 points).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Keanu Garnier-Chan clocked a ninth-place time of 16:29.11 in the 1650-yard freestyle to open the final day.
- Nicholas Bonta then took third in the 200-yard backstroke in 1:49.40.
- William Slowey came in fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:01.54.
- Luke Dinges grabbed the win in the 200-yard butterfly, posting a meet-record time of 1:45.81 to win the race by 1.4 seconds.
- Rollins capped the meet with a fifth-place result in the 400-yard freestyle relay, as Slowey, Tully Njoroge, Seth Basinger, and Trey Carter posted a time of 3:01.11.
