INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 16, 2022) – Rollins has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA South Region Baseball Tournament, marking the Tars' first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 2010. Rollins is seeded third and will head to second-seeded Saint Leo, where they will open with a match-up against sixth-seeded Delta State.

The number two seed Saint Leo Lions will serve as the hosts for the Tars' half of the bracket. Lee will be the other team joining Rollins and Delta State in Saint Leo. The other South Region qualifiers will play at the home of top-seeded Tampa, and will feature Valdosta State, Nova Southeastern, and Spring Hill.
The Tars earned their first NCAA postseason berth in 12 years after a 35-15 campaign. Rollins went 18-12 in Sunshine State Conference play, good enough for fourth in the conference standings.
Four teams will participate at each of the 16 regional sites in double-elimination tournaments, held May 19-22. Winners will advance to the super regionals, slated for May 27-28. The finals will be held June 4-11 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina, with the University of Mount Olive serving as the host.
