WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 2, 2022) – The Tars held Palm Beach Atlantic scoreless for 39 minutes, pitching a second half shutout, to take a convincing 19-5 win over the Sailfish. The Tars pick up the win in their first Sunshine State Conference contest of the year, while they stay unbeaten, at 10-0 overall. Palm Beach Atlantic falls to 2-7 on the year, and 0-2 in conference action.

Caroline Gastonguay led another balanced attack from Rollins. The senior notched a game high six points, coming on three goals and three assists.Â
Charlotte Gastonguay led all scorers with four goals, and added one assist, for a total of five points.Â
Bridget Cawley dominated defensively, forcing four turnovers and picking up five groundballs. Â
Rachel Schlesinger made four saves, facing nine shots on goal.

Anna Laskaris tallied twice to lead the Sailfish. Courtney Rausch played the full 60 minutes in goal for Palm Beach Atlantic, making six saves on 25 Rollins shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Quarter
- Caroline Gastonguay got the Tars started on the right foot, tallying her first goal just seconds into the game.
- The goal started a five goal streak by the Tars that saw a pair of Charlotte Gastonguay scores.
- The Sailfish responded with back-to-back goals to make it 5-2.
- The Tars would rally to score three in a row, one from Paige Kienle and another pair from Charlotte Gastonguay, before Palm Beach Atlantic snuck in a buzzer beater to end the first period at 8-2.
Second Quarter
- A pair of Sailfish goals surrounded an Abigail Cawley tally early in the second quarter, as the Sailfish cut the deficit to 9-5. But a score with nine minutes on the clock in the second period was the last time Palm Beach Atlantic would light scoreboard for the game.
- Rollins closed the frame with goals from Ali Rogers and Abigail DeGroat to take an 11-5 lead into the break.
Third Quarter
- Rollins scored five goals in the third, growing their lead as they held the Sailfish scoreless.
- Taylor Keinle opened the period with her first of the day.
- Liz Fahey tallied a pair of extra-woman scores, which bookended two Caroline Gastonguay goals, as Rollins led 16-5 heading into the final quarter.
Fourth Quarter
- Jordan Coppolo found the back of the net for the first time in her Blue and Gold career, to open the fourth quarter.
- Caroline Bailey tallied just minutes later, ballooning the Tars' lead to 18-5.
- Piper Trattner netted her first goal of the season to cap the day's scoring.
