INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 24, 2022) – The Tars earned a program record with six swimmers making the trip to NCAA Championships, to feature in six events. Rollins qualified a pair of individuals and a trio of relay teams for the meet, which will be held from March 9-12 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The relay teams are the first relay squads in program history to qualify for NCAA action.

Harold Lockhart earned a spot in three individual events for the Tars. The sophomore will be competing in the 1000, 500, and 200 Yard Freestyle events. He currently holds the school record in all three swims, after an impressive showing at the Sunshine State Conference Championships. He took silver in both the 1000 Yard and 500 Yard events. His gold medal swim in the 200 Yard event proved to be the second fastest qualifying time in the country.

Chance Ricca will swim in two events for Rollins after the freshman qualified in the 1000 Yard and 500 Yard Freestyle swims in his first try in Blue and Gold. Ricca tallied a pair of fourth place results in the events at the SSC Meet.

The Tars will send their 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, and 800 Yard Freestyle Relay teams to North Carolina. Lockhart and
Christian Huber feature on all three relay squads. The 200 Yard team is completed by
Luke Bunnell and
Cruse Sweeney. The 400 Yard team is rounded out by Ricca and Sweeney, while Ricca and
Cameron Dolly and fill out the 800 Yard contingent.
