Throughout the final weeks of the semester, Rollins Athletics will honor spring sports senior student-athletes who missed out on their senior day due to the COVID-19 sports shutdown. Should they chose to extend their eligibility under proposed NCAA rules, these student-athletes may return to play in the 2021 season.
00. Wyatt Todd | Defender | Randolph, N.J.
Wyatt has been a key component of the Rollins defense for the past three seasons. The New Jersey native has seen the field in 32 games for the Tars, making 17 total starts, while playing both close defense and long stick midfield. Wyatt has picked up 49 groundballs throughout his career, while causing 17 turnovers. In his three years at Rollins the Tars' goals against average has never been above 10, and has gone down every year. In the first four games of the 2020 campaign Rollins was allowing just 8.41 goals per game. Wyatt has caused a pair of turnovers in a game three times, including in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament Semifinals in 2018. He picked up a career best five groundballs against Florida Tech in 2019. Wyatt was named All-SSC Honorable Mention for is production as a junior. He was selected to the Rollins Athletic Director's Honor Roll every year, and the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll twice. Wyatt will graduate with a degree in Social Entrepreneurship.
9. Jackson Colling | Midfield | Maitland, Fla.
Jackson has been a force in the Rollins midfield since transferring to Rollins after his freshman season. He made his collegiate debut for Division-I Boston University, before coming to Winter Park and seeing the field in 33 career games. Jackson found the back of the net 28 times in the Blue and Gold, adding 14 assists, good for a total of 42 points. He has picked up 26 groundballs, while also causing 10 turnovers. Jackson was on pace for a banner year in 2020, having netted seven goals in just four games. The Lake Highland Prep grad had also added one assist, picked up three groundballs, caused two turnovers, and had not turned the ball over himself. Jackson tallied a career high four goals, including the overtime game-winner, in Rollins win over No. 10 Wingate, earlier this season; his efforts earned him Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Jackson has been selected as a team captain as both a junior and a senior. He has earned spots on every possible Rollins Athletic Director and SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll throughout his career, while majoring in International Relations.
11. Blake Buell | Midfield | Dallas, Texas
Blake will leave the Tars as another in a long line of Buells who have made great contributions to Rollins both on and off the lacrosse field. Blake saw action in 46 games for the Tars over his four year career. He scored 22 goals, while adding 21 assists, good for 43 career points. He also picked up 38 groundballs, while causing one turnover from his offensive midfield position. Blake tallied his first career hat-trick as a freshman, with three goals in a 6-4 win over conference rival Saint Leo. He set a career high with five points, four goals and one assist, in a victory over Florida Southern last season. As a senior he scored a goal, tallied an assist, and picked up two groundballs against No. 15 Queens. Blake earned All-Sunshine State Conference Freshman Team honors in 2017. He also has been named to the Rollins Athletic Director and SSC Commissioner's Honor Rolls in every possible semester. Blake is pursuing his degree in Business.
12. Dave Gollenberg | Attack | Granby, Conn.
Dave has provided key depth and leadership at the attack position for Rollins over his four years in Winter Park. The Granby, Connecticut native saw action in nine games for the Tars, tallying a total of five points, on three goals and two assists. He also picked up four groundballs and caused one turnover during his career. Dave tallied one goal and one assist, while adding a groundball in a 2018 Sunshine State Conference matchup against the Embry-Riddle Eagles. As a senior he registered an assist in the Tars' season opening win over Molloy. Dave has been named to the Rollins Athletic Director's Honor Roll multiple time, and the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll twice. He will receive his degree in Business Management.
14. Kyle Portera | Midfield | Bay Shore, N.Y.
Kyle has contributed to the Tars since first joining the team as a sophomore. He started his collegiate career at Gettysburg College before making his way south. Kyle saw the field in 27 games during his time in Blue and Gold. He tallied 15 goals and dished out 7 assists, good for a total of 22 points. The St. John the Baptist High School graduate added 13 groundballs, a pair of caused turnovers, and was victorious in his only faceoff attempt. Set a career high, as a senior, with three points, two goals and one assist, in Rollins season opening win over Molloy. He also tallied one goal in Rollins upset victory over No. 10 Wingate. In total, Kyle had found the back of the net four times and added two assists through four games in 2020. Kyle has been a constant presence on the Rollins Athletic Director's Honor Roll, and has earned a spot on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor in both his previous seasons. He will be graduating with a degree in Business Management.
17. Brandon Carlin | Midfield | East Meadow, N.Y.
Brandon saw the field in three seasons at Rollins, playing in 30 games. He saw the field in only one game as a senior, due to injury. In total the East Meadow High School product netted 12 goals and dished out 14 assists as a key player in the Blue and Gold midfield. In his career Brandon also picked up 19 groundballs and caused three turnovers. Brandon's career highs came in 2019, against Sunshine State Conference rival, No. 16 Tampa, when he tallied a hat trick and added two assists for a total of five points. He has earned spots on the Rollins Athletic Director's and SSC Commissioner's Honor Rolls in every possible semester, as he pursues a degree in Business Management.
18. Eric NeCamp | Midfield | Powell, Ohio
Eric has been a key offensive weapon for Rollins for four years, providing a threat at both the attack and midfield. He has seen the field in 37 games for Rollins, making 12 starts. Eric has tallied 19 goals and 10 assists, good for 29 total points in his Blue and Gold career. He has also picked up 41 groundballs and caused three turnovers for Rollins. Eric tallied a hat-trick and added one assist for a career high four points in Rollins 2019 win over Colorado State-Pueblo. As a senior he scored a goal and added a helper in Rollins 10-9 overtime win over No. 10 Wingate. In 2017 Eric was named to the All-Sunshine State Conference Freshman team. He has earned Rollins Athletic Director's and SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition every year, and will graduate with a degree in International Business.
23. James Cowan | Midfield | Lutz, Fla.
James has played in 33 games for the Tars, making eight starts in his four years in the Blue and Gold. Playing defensive short stick midfield, James has stuffed the stat sheet during his time at Rollins, tallying three goals, picking up 30 groundballs, causing 20 turnovers, and winning one faceoff. In 2019 the Steinbrenner High School graduate tallied a goal, caused a turnover, and picked up three groundballs in Rollins key, 11-10, Sunshine State Conference victory over No. 14 Saint Leo. As a senior he caused a turnover and picked up two groundballs in Rollins overtime upset of No. 10 Wingate. James was selected a captain during his senior campaign. He has been named to multiple Rollins Athletic Director's and SSC Commissioner's Honor Rolls at Rollins. James will be earning his degree in Business Management.
45. Ryan Dunn | Attack | Ridgefield, Conn.
Ryan has made a lasting impact on the Rollins men's lacrosse program in just over a year of competition with the team. In 17 total games for Rollins, including 16 starts, the Ridgefield High School alum has scored 48 goals and dished out 20 assists, to go along with 38 groundballs and six caused turnovers. As a junior Ryan tallied 44 goals and 19 assists, good for 63 points. Both his goal total, and his total points were good enough for single season program records. Dunn tallied a career high eight points, coming on five goals and three assists, in a victory over Sunshine State Conference rival Embry-Riddle. The performance earned him a spot on the USILA Team of the Week. He was also named SSC Offensive Player of the Week after tallying nine points in a pair of Rollins wins over Saint Leo and Florida Southern. Ryan was selected Second Team All-SSC for his efforts as a junior. He has earned spots on both the Rollins Athletic Director's and SSC Commissioner's Honor Rolls, while pursuing a degree in Business Management.
50. Ford Johnson | Midfield | Kansas City, Mo.
Ford has offered Rollins men's lacrosse valuable depth and leadership at the midfield position, with his ability to both take faceoffs and see time in the field. Overall, Ford saw action in 12 games for the Tars over his four years in Winter Park. He tallied one assist, won 10 faceoffs, picked up three groundballs, and caused one turnover. The Pembroke High School graduate tallied his assist and picked up a groundball in the Tars 2019 season opening win over SCAD. In 2018 he went 6-8 at the faceoff dot, with a groundball, in Rollins victory over Alabama-Huntsville. Ford has been honored as a Rollins Athletic Director and Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll member on multiple occasions. He will be graduating with a degree in Social Entrepreneurship.
90. Nate Gillan | Attack | Orlando, Fla.
Nate has been key for the Tars in the midfield depth chart during his three years with the team. He has seen the field in nine game for Rollins, scoring two goals and adding a pair of assists, good for a total of four points. He has also picked up four groundballs. Nate tallied one goal and two assists in Rollins 2018 victory over Sunshine State Conference rival Embry-Riddle. He also saw action in the Tars' overtime upset of No. 10 Wingate this season. Nate has been named to the Rollins Athletic Director's Honor Roll while pursuing his degree in Philosophy.
91. Harrison Bluestein | Defender | Alexandria, Va.
Appeared in 39 games for Rollins over his four year career, making 35 starts in the Blue and Gold defense. He caused 35 turnovers, and picked up 61 groundballs during a time at Rollins. As a senior Harrison led a defense that surrendered just 8.41 goals per game, and was on pace for a banner year, leading the team with seven caused turnovers, and ranking third on the team with 10 groundballs. He set career highs with five groundballs against Florida Southern, and caused five turnovers against No. 15 Queens this season. Harrison has been named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll twice and the Rollins Athletic Director's Honor Roll in all three previous years. He will be graduating with a degree in Environmental Studies.
99. Landon Salie | Goalkeeper | Jensen Beach, Fla.
Landon has been a constant presence in the Tars' goalkeeping ranks since first stepping on campus as a Freshman. He has seen the field in 11 games for the Tars, making seven starts. He totaled 54 saves, while allowing just 9.73 goals per game. He compiled a 5-2 record as a start, while saving 42.9% mark, including saving over 50% as both a sophomore and a junior. Landon started his junior campaign by leading the Tars to a 5-1 record, before an injury cut the season short. During that season he made nine saves to help Rollins to a win over Young Harris, and maintained a 57% save percentage in wins against both SCAD and Alabama-Huntsville. Landon has earned spots on the Rollins Athletic Director's and Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Rolls multiple times. He will be graduating with a degree in Business Management.
