WINTER PARK, FLA. (February 8, 2020) – Tars defeated Queens (5-0) and Bentley (9-1) as the host of the inaugural Rollins Round Robin in Winter Park.

Pitcher Ashley Worrell pitched all seven innings in the circle without allowing any runs and striking out five. The win is Worrell's third of the season.
Ashley Troutman went 1-2 at the plate and scored once. Troutman hit her first homerun of the season in the bottom of the first. Chelsea Peace had one hit, but it was a big one, resulting in her first home of the season
The Tars scored two runs in the bottom of the third. Lindsay Gehring finished off the game scoring the final run in the bottom of the fifth on a single to left field from Talia Kentoffio.
Queens did not score, and only managed four hits in the game.

Rollins finished day one of the Rollins Round Robin, beating Bentley 9-1.
Power was on display for the Tars in this one. Ashley Worrell had a big day at the plate going 1-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Lindsay Gehring went 1-3 at the plate with one homerun and two RBIs. Ashley Grimanelis was the third Tar to hit a homerun. She went 2-3 with one RBI. Chelsea Pease and Kara Wagstaff each added RBI as well.
To get their final runs of the game Pease doubled to the right center and Troutman scored.
Pitcher Ali Shenefied won her third game of the season, allowing four hits. She had another great game, pitching a six innings. This performance included nine strikeouts.
