SAINT LEO, Fla. (January 24, 2020)- Rollins visited Saint Leo Friday for the final dual meet of the season and came up short to the Lions, 169-93.
Connor Xu took first in two individual events to headline the Tars effort. The freshman won the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:06.09 and also took first in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:54.93.
Asa Marvel finished first in the 100 yard butterfly (51.76) and third in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 9:51.32.
Luiggi Reno earned a pair of second place finishes, posting a time of 2:04.46 in the 200 yard IM and going 2:10.04 in the 200 yard breaststroke. Elliot Wylie recorded a runner-up finish in the 200 yard backstroke (1:55.48) and also grabbed third in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 53.68.
Dan Sulkowski placed second in the 100 yard backstroke (59.98). Brandon Nord finished third in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.65. Chase Benton placed third in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.33.
Rollins' 200 yard freestyle relay finished second as Cruse Sweeney, Cameron Dolly, Christian Huber and Marvel stopped the clock at 1:26.00. Marvel and Huber joined Sulkowski and Alex Norcini to finish second in the 200 yard medley in 1:36.09.
Rollins will be back in the pool for the Sunshine State Conference Championship February 13-16.
