WINTER PARK, Fla. (May 6, 2016) - The Rollins
College softball team had two members named to the CoSIDA Academic
All-District teams, it was announced Friday.
Niki
Fogle carries a 3.78 GPA, majoring in Elementary Education. On
the softball field, the senior pitcher holds the program record for
career wins with 105. Fogle currently holds a 25-10 overall record
this year with a 1.72 ERA.
Brittany
Johnson also receives the recognition as the senior is majoring
in History and is posting a 3.51 GPA. The senior shortstop is
batting .284 with 11 stolen bases and four homeruns. Johnson
currently leads the team in hits by pitches with 14.
The Academic All-District and Academic All-American programs are
administered by the College Sports Information Directors of America
(CoSIDA).
