ROLLINS AT A GLANCE: Last time out, the Tars upset second-seed Valdosta State, 3-2. Jule Kranz crushed a two-out solo home run in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game before Brittany Johnson belted a walk-off RBI single to secure the victory.

Individually, Kranz leads the team with a .387 batting average. The senior shortstop has stolen a team high 22 bases and has a .459 on base percentage. Reed is close behind as the junior is batting .365 with 32 RBIs and 23 stolen bases.

Fogle leads the pitchers in the circle with an overall record of 26-10 and an ERA of 1.73. The senior has recorded 179 strikeouts in 44 appearances.

Head Coach Michelle Free enters her 20th season at Rollins. She has led the Tars to four Sunshine State Conference Titles and boasts a Rollins career record of 740-299-1, good for a .711 winning percentage.

WEST FLORIDA AT A GLANCE: Last time out, the Argonauts defeated Valdosta State 6-2 in the elimination game of the NCAA. West Florida has an overall record of 42-16 and 23-10 in conference.

Individually, Emily Pettigrew leads the team with a .366 batting average. The senior outfielder leads the team with 63 hits and a .426 on-base percentage. Freshman Rachel Wright is close behind with a .343 batting average, 62 hits and six home runs.

Becca Taylor and Kalyn Chapman have shared time in the circle. Taylor currently has a 2.22 ERA and a 17-7 overall record. Chapman has recorded a 2.60 ERA with 164 strikeouts while collecting a 20-7 record.

Melissa Paul is in her second season as the head coach of the University of West Florida softball team. Paul led the Argos to a 19-30 record last season and an eighth place finish in the Gulf South Conference.

LAST MEETING: Rollins and West Florida met in the first round of the NCAA South Region 2 Tournament on Thursday. Fogle threw a no-hitter for the Tars as they went on to dominate the Argos, 7-0.

The Tars got on the board first after Chelsea Reed hit a single to right field with Hailee Keisling and Tiffany Osmanski on base. The Argos right fielder had trouble fielding the ball allowing Keisling to score from second to give the Tars a 1-0 lead. Rollins then had the bases loaded later in the inning, but West Florida's Kalyn Chapman was able to get out of the jam.

Courtney Durbin started things off in the fourth as she singled to left field. Fogle then helped her cause in the circle as she blasted a two-run home run off the left center scoreboard with two outs to put the Tars up 3-0.

Rollins would not be done there as the Tars put up four more runs in the top of the fifth. Senior Brittany Johnson singled to third, but a throwing error by the third basement allowed Abigail Sexton to score. Next batter, Durbin, doubled to left field scoring Reed and Johnson extending Rollins lead to 6-0. The senior left fielder scored later in the inning off a throwing error by the West Florida catcher to go up 7-0.
