Rollins Enters NFCA DII Softball Poll at No. 17

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 13, 2016) - The Rollins softball team moves into the NFCA Division II Softball Poll for the first time this season, checking in at No. 17. The Tars are coming off a series sweep of Lynn University and are currently 33-7-1 overall with a 13-2 record in the SSC.

Indianapolis (38-1) holds onto the top spots in the rankings for the third consecutive week. West Texas A&M (44-2) remains at No. 2 while Humboldt State (35-3-1) rounds out the top three.

The only other representative from the Sunshine State Conference is Saint Leo (34-1), which has the Lions sitting at No. 4. Rollins welcomes Saint Leo to Winter Park for a three-game series on April 22-23, 2016.

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. 2016 records and previous week's rankings are shown with first-place votes in parentheses.
