WINTER PARK, Fla. (November 18, 2016)

- Every player in uniform scored at least three points as the Rollins men's basketball team posted a 104-79 win over Puerto Rico Mayaguez on Friday afternoon.

Freshman Jakobi Bonner and junior Jeff Merton each scored 16 to lead the Tars. Joey Galvis hit a trio of 3-pointers en route to 15 points while Deion Clark netted 13 and handed out three assists.

Luis Lopez and Francisco Lopez each scored 18 to place the Tarzans, who were playing their fifth game in seven days. Alexis Parilla added 11 points and Alexander Curet scored 10.

Rollins improves to 3-1 on the year while UPRM falls to 0-5.

HIGHLIGHTS AND HALF-BY-HALF ANALYSIS
• The Tarzans scored the first four points of the game; a Clark bucket at the 17:46 mark were the Tars first points.
• Rollins took its first lead after a Mckim 3-pointer to make the score 7-4 with 15:47 to play.
• Rollins used a 16-4 run from 11:10-to-5:57 to take a 32-16 lead; four different players scored in that span, led by six from Clark.
• The Tars pushed the lead to 56-29 at intermission after a Mckim 3-pointer in the final seconds of the half.
• Merton netted 14 in the first to lead Rollins; Alexander Curet and Francisco Lopez both scored six to lead Mayaguez.
