SET-UP:
Rollins officially starts its defense of the Sunshine State
Conference title from a year ago on Monday night, hosting rival
Florida Southern in Warden Arena. The game was pushed back two days
to accommodate FSC's participation in the Small College Hall of
Fame Classic over the weekend, a showcase of recent national
champions. The Tars are the final team to get into league play due
to its win over Embry-Riddle not factoring into the conference
standings and an idle last Saturday. The Tars have won two in a row
and are coming off a 104-79 thrashing of Puerto Rico Mayaguez on
Friday afternoon. The Mocs are 1-0 in SSC play with a win over
Saint Leo, but lost both games over the weekend, falling to
Southern Indiana (108-94) Friday and third-ranked Bellarmine 97-61
on Saturday. FSC will be playing their fourth game in six days when
meeting Rollins.
