Notes: The
Rollins volleyball team enters into its final two matches of the
regular season with a mark of 11-17 and 6-8 in Sunshine State
Conference action. After getting off to a slow start that saw the
Tars post a record of 1-12 to start the season, the squad has
bounced back to win 10 of their last 15 matches in the latter half
of their 2015 campaign. The Tars will match up against Eckerd
College on Friday, November 20, at 7 p.m., followed by a Saturday
night matchup at Saint Leo University at 7 p.m. Links to live

ROLLINS AT A GLANCE: Entering into the weekend with a record of
11-17 and mark of 6-8 in the Sunshine State Conference, the Rollins
volleyball team squares up against Eckerd College and Saint Leo
University for the second time this season. After dropping two straight matches to Nova
Southeastern and then tenth-ranked PBA, the Tars got back to their
winning ways on Saturday, November 14 with a 3-1 victory over Barry
University on Senior Day.
Leading the way on the season
is sophomore Bri
Civiero with 311 kills. Shannon
McDonough follows with 239 kills, followed closely by freshman
Rachel
Sawyer with 214. The senior duo of MaryEllen
Pole and April
Jackson continue to set the Tars up for success, with Pole
dishing out 561 assists so far this season, followed by Jackson
with 461.
Defensively, Rebecca
Wilson leads the way with 543 digs, including two 30+ dig
matches this season. R. Sawyer follows with 369, with Civiero
coming in third on the team with 287. At the net, Kianna
Dieudonné has put up 77 blocks to lead the team,
followed by Schlesman with 65 and Kerra
Tirado with 62.
ECKERD AT A
GLANCE:
The Tritons enter into Friday
night's matchup riding a two match win streak with an overall
record of 15-13 and SSC mark of 6-9. Most recently, Eckerd took down Nova
Southeastern and Lynn University by matching scores of 3-1 last
weekend.
The Tritons are led by Tjasa
Kotnik with 443 kills, followed by JaQuayla Baker with 299 and
Lauryn Nelson with 265. Kotnik leads the squad with an impressive
4.10 kills per set, while Baker and Nelson have accrued 2.77 and
2.50 kps, respectively.
Kaitlyn Sibson paces the
Tritons with 497 digs, while Kotnik follows with 284. Gabriella Reis and Arielle Erillo come next
with 209 and 205 digs, accordingly. Baker takes claim at the net, earning 98
blocks so far this season, averaging .91 per set.
LAST TIME OUT:
Last time out against Eckerd College the
Tars earned a clean 3-0 sweep back on October 24, (25-23, 25-19,
25-23).
McDonough led the Tars with
nine kills, followed by Civiero and Tirado with seven each.
Pole led the squad in assists with 22.
Wilson paced the team in digs, adding 22 for the afternoon. There
was a total team effort at the net, with Tirado, R. Sawyer, and MaryBethany
Vincent each contributing two blocks.
For the Tritons, Baker led in kills
with 14, followed closely by Nelson and Kotnik with 13 each. Emily
Schadow had a game-high 37 assists. Defensively, Sibson led the
Tritons squad with 15 digs, while Baker led the team at the net
with 2 blocks.

SAINT LEO AT A
GLANCE:
The Lions enter into Saturday's
match with a current record of 18-10 and 9-6 against SSC
opponents. In their most recent outing, Saint Leo
dropped a 3-2 decision to Nova Southeastern on Saturday, November
14. Prior to Saturday's SSC showdown, the Lions
will host Embry-Riddle on Friday night at 7 p.m. in the Marion
Bowman Activities Center.
LAST TIME
OUT:
In their last matchup on October
23, the Tars defeated the Lions in a hard-fought 3-0 (25-18, 25-22,
25-23) victory in Warden Arena.
McDonough led the Tars with
12 kills, followed by Civiero with nine. Wilson paced the team in
digs with 17 for the evening. She was followed by Pole with 11. Pole also
added 19 assists for a double-double, followed by Jackson with 11.
McDonough and Tirado controlled the net, each contributing three
blocks.
Saint Leo was led by Jillian
Stolzenberg with 11 kills, Anna Siruckova and Britt Sederholm each
had eight kills for the evening. Leading the team in both assists
and digs was Ashlee Hodgskin with 29 and 16, respectively. Katie
Adamson led Saint Leo in blocks with four.

when they make the trek westward to take on Eckerd and Saint Leo.
Rollins matches up with the Tritons on Friday, November 20 at 7
