Rollins (2-0-0) returns to Barker Family Stadium to open their 2013 home schedule, welcoming top-ranked West Florida (1-0-1) on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

ROLLINS AT A GLANCE: The Tars opened their season on the road, traveling to S.C. for a pair of games. First, Rollins defeated S.C. Aiken by a score of 4-1 before ending the trip with a come from behind 2-1 win over Anderson.

Leading the offense so far has been freshman Paxton Sickler. The Apopka native has been involved in five out the six goals scored this season, scoring three and assisted on two others for a team leading eight points. Junior Brenna McKee is right behind her with two goals on five shots. McKee is currently 11th in school history with 16 career goals

In goal, junior Mary Spring ranks among the programs all-time best, sitting third in Rollins history in shutouts (8) and is also currently third in goals against average, allowing just 1.00 goals a contest.

UWF AT A GLANCE: No. 1 West Florida held steady atop the NSCAA national rankings this week after going 1-0-1 against nationally-ranked opponents to open the season.

The defending national champions defeated preseason No. 13 Columbus State, 3-2, in overtime on a neutral field before tying preseason No. 5 Armstrong, 1-1, at Armstrong at the Holiday Inn Express Midtown Savannah "Clash on the Coast."

The Argos are led by freshman Korrie Abernathy. Abernathy was named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week in the first week of her collegiate career after scoring a game-tying goal against Armstrong and recording an assist against Columbus State team last week.

THE COACHES: The Rollins women's soccer team is led by reigning Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year Alicia Schuck. Coach Schuck is in her third year at the helm, holding a record of 28-8-4. Since taking over, she has led the Tars to a berth in the NCAA tournament twice and has been named both the NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year and SSC Coach of the Year.

UWF is led by head coach Joe Bartlinski. Bartlinski holds a career record of 203-27-14 (.861) overall and a 83-4-1 record (.949) in Gulf South Conference play, as he continues to make his mark as one of the most successful active coaches in college soccer. West Florida earned NCAA Tournament bids every season under Bartlinski except 2004, when UWF's season was canceled due to Hurricane Ivan, and 2011.
