GRAND LAKE, Colo. (April 16, 2013) -

Coming off a week long, four-game road trip where they went a perfect 4-0, the Tars women's lacrosse team jumped back to No. 4 in the most recent IWLCA Division II Poll, it was announced on Tuesday. Rollins had dropped to fifth in last week's poll.

The trip that covered four states in seven days included wins over then No. 2 ranked West Chester, where they came back from a 7-2 deficit to win 12-9, and nationally respected Lindenwood.

LIU Post remained at No. 1 and Limestone moved up a spot to No. 2 in this week's IWLCA poll with Adephi, Rollins, and West Chester rounding out the top five.

Lindenwood moved into the national rankings for the first time in school history as the Lions came in at No. 15.

The NE-10 continues to lead all conferences with five ranked teams and the PSAC sits right behind the NE-10 with four teams in the poll. Conference Carolinas and the ECC both have two teams in the top-10 of the rankings.

Florida Southern, also an independent school, remained in the top-10 by holding steady at No. 9.

This is the eighth weekly poll for the IWLCA for the 2013 season; the next weekly poll will be released April 23.
