LEXINGTON, Ky. (December 4, 2013) - After an
impressive senior campaign, middle blocker Camille Indest garnered
AVCA All-South Region Team honors, it was announced Wednesday.
This is the second time that Indest lands on the AVCA All-South
Region Team, having received the recognition in 2012. She will now
be eligible for All-America status released on December 12.
The senior leads the Tars offense averaging a team-best 3.68
kills per set with a .334 hitting percentage. She is also
averaging 0.23 service aces, 0.71 digs and 0.83 blocks per
set.
In the Sunshine State Conference, Indest ranks second in points
(4.44 pps) and kills (3.68 kps), fifth in hitting percentage (.334)
and 12th in blocks. On the nation level, she ranks
22nd in points per set, 43rd in kills per
set, 47th in hitting percentage and 201st in
blocks per set.
The Winter Park native has also been recognized as a First Team
All-SSC selection and Second Team Daktronics All-South Region
selection. Indest has helped lead the Tars to their third 20+ win
season in the last four years and the program's fourth straight
NCAA Tournament appearance.
Rollins will face second-seeded Palm Beach Atlantic in the
opening round of the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament on
