Rollins welcomes the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamon to Warden Arena on Monday, the Tars third game in four days. Rollins returns home after splitting a pair of games at Saint Leo over the weekend, falling to USC Aiken and beating Virginia Union. The Vaqueros are on their annual barnstorming tour through the lower-48 and are coming off a loss to Flagler on Friday night. Fans who can't make it to the game can watch live on the Tars Sports Network at RollinsSpors.com and listen locally at 91.5 FM WPRK.

ROLLINS AT A GLANCE (2-4): The Tars are off to a tough start to the season, but can string together two wins with a solid game against Bayamon. Rollins took part in a round-robin event at Saint Leo last Friday and Saturday, earning a split. Against 18th-ranked USC Aiken, Rollins built a seven point halftime lead, but hit just six-second half field goals and lost 70-59. Mitch Woods pumped in 19 points to lead the Tars. Less than 24-hours later, Rollins used a hot second half and ran past Virginia Union 77-59. Woods and Chris Uhle each netted 14 to lead Rollins.

Woods is Rollins' top scorer on the year, averaging 12.8 points a game. The senior leads the team in 3-point shooting, hitting 12-of-28 from beyond the arc. Adam Allen chips in 11.0 points a night while Chris Uhile is averaging 9.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assist a game. Jeff Dirk leads the team in blocks (11) and steals (10).

The Tars are averaging 63.2 points a game, ranking last in the Sunshine State Conference, while allowing 62.7 a night, third best in the SSC. Rollins is nearly even with opponents in rebounding average, grabbing 38.7 and allowing 38.6.

Tars coach Tom Klusman (Rollins '76) is in his 34th-year leading the program and carries a 611-345 career record. He is one of five active coaches in Division II with 600 career wins and is just the 15th all-time to reach the milestone.

P.R. BAYAMON A GLANCE (3-5): The Vaqueros will face the Tars after a two-day break, most recently falling to Flagler 90-67. Carlos Ramos led the Vaqueros with a game-high 27 points on 11 of 19 shooting from the field. Hamilton Rullan added 11 points. Jonathan Roman chipped in with nine points and five assists.

Bayamon scored a huge win earlier in the year, beating nationally ranked USC Aiken on its home floor, 60-55. Ramos netted 17 to lead the Vaqueros over the Pacers while Jorge Santos put up 12 points and seven rebounds. Bayamon held the Pacers to just 30 percent shooting and nearly 20 under their scoring average.

LAST MATCH-UP: Rollins and Bayamon met in the second game of the year last season with the Tars winning 71-57. Woods poured in 18 points to lead five Tars in double figures. Victor Caratini led the Vaqueros with 15 points.

NEXT UP FOR ROLLINS: The Tars will have less than 24 hours to prepare for their next game, a 3 p.m. match-up with Puerto Rico Mayaguez on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
