WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Rollins College
baseball team will host Baseball For Cure, an all-day event that
will include three games at the Alfond Stadium, Tuesday, March 10
with all the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society-Search
for a Cure for Breast Cancer.
Ticket prices will increase to $10 and the team will be selling
limited edition pink Rollins Baseball hats for $15 and pink shirts
for $20. Game jersey's can also be purchased by parents and fans
for a fair donation.
Tuesday will feature three games including Penn versus
Georgetown, Maine against Rollins and American International
squaring off with Bentley in the night cap.
All gate receipts from each game, concession revenue, proceeds
from apparel sales, and individual contributions will be donated to
the American Cancer Society-Search for a Cure for Breast
Cancer.
The baseball team will also be showing their support of fighting
breast cancer by wearing pink uniforms.
