2010 (Senior):   Selected in the 28th round (852nd overall) by the Seattle Mariners in the MLB First-Year Player Draft...finished storied season with a team-best 2.76 ERA, 11-3 record and 94 strikeouts…ranked sixth in the country in victories…appeared in 17 games and made 14 starts…tossed seven complete-games and garnered three shutouts…recorded a career-best with 13 strikeouts against American International (3/7/10) in a 6-2 victory…pitched a two-hitter against West Florida (2/7/10) in a 2-0 win to help the Tars claim the series…came out of the bullpen midway through the season and was the winning pitcher against No. 22 Ohio State when he pitched two innings and allowed one hit...named the Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Year…was selected as the SSC Pitcher of the Week three times…South Region First Team Daktronics, NCBWA and ABCA…Daktronics All-America Third Team…ABCA All-America Second Team…NCBWA All-America Second Team.

2009 (Junior):  Finished his junior season tied for the team-high in wins with seven…appeared in 15 games with 14 starts…tallied four seven-inning complete-games with two shutouts…logged the most innings pitched with 83.2…limited opponents’ batting average to .214, a team-best…first career shutout occurred against Flagler (3/28/09) when he registered six strikeouts and allowed two hits…shutdown No. 1 Barry (5/02/09) with another two-hit shutout in a 1-0 victory…finished with 94 strikeouts, a team-high, and had a team-low 3.23 ERA, seventh in the conference…fourth in the conference in strikeouts…played summer ball for the Mankato Moondogs from the Northwoods League…was selected for the Northwoods League All-Star Game…finished the summer with a 4-2 record and a 1.60 ERA…pitched a no-hitter against St. Cloud, which included 10 strikeouts.

Previous School: Played two years at St. John’s River Community College were he excelled as an ace on the mound for the Vikings...averaged 1.110 strike outs per inning...also played summer ball for the St. Augustine Saints.

High School: Attended high school at Bartram Trail High School where he was used as a utility player for the Bears baseball team...earned all-district honors as a senior...was a member of the  2005 National Open Top Prospect Showcase in the Green Division.
