AT A GLANCE...
The Rollins College men's basketball team welcomes Palm Beach Atlantic University to Warden Arena to conclude the 2008-09 basketball series against the Sailfish.

Rollins and PBA meet for the second time this season as the Sailfish captured the victory during the first go-around with 82-78 in overtime win. The Tars, just coming off an overtime victory against Nova Southeastern, was handed its second loss of the season when they traveled to West Palm Beach, back on Dec. 3. In the contest Zach Pancratz extended the game with 3-pointer just before time expired in regulation. Despite a valiant effort, the comeback fell short as David Powell led all scorers with 24 points for the Sailfish to claim the victory.

The Tars continue to own the all-time record against Palm Beach Atlantic, 12-2 and were riding a six-game winning streak in the series prior to this season's loss.

Last year, the Tars defeated the Sailfish twice by an average of 24.5 points. At Palm Beach, Rollins defeated the Sailfish, 86-64 backed behind a 25-point performance from All-American Jonny Reibel, while Ryan Ferranti hauled in a team-high seven boards. At Warden Arena, the Tars relied on Craig Reichel's 17 points and Chauncey Gibbs' six rebounds to earn the 76-49 victory.

The other win for PBA occurred, Nov. 21, 1998 at Winter Park, 84-76.

The Tars enter the contest boasting the conference's best field goal percentage of .502 and 3-point percentage of .403. Individually, Nick Wolf, a two-time conference player of the week, leads the SSC in 3-point percentage (.500) and Craig Reichel resides in second in the assist/turnover ratio (2.48).

AT A GLANCE...

Head Coach Glenn Wilkes and Tom Klusman own 1,015 wins between the two of them. The two rank third
in total wins and are the fourth active duo to complete this feat. Glenn Wilkes, Jr. and his father Glenn Wilkes,
former Stetson men's coach, are the only father-son coaching duo with more than 500 wins apiece.

Rollins checked in at No. 12 in this week's USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll after suffering their first loss
of the season against Nova Southeastern.

Today's game will be the 35th meeting between these two teams with the Tars claiming 23 victories in that
span. The Tars won their last meeting with Flagler 69-35, when they visited Warden Arena in December.
The Tars are coming off road loss against Nova Southeastern Saturday afternoon. The game was an
offensive struggle for the Tars all afternoon long as they tied the game up late, but could not take the
lead. Rollins shot 81.3 percent from the free-throw line, but they were unable to overcome their first half
stuggles as they shot 15.6 percent from the field. Nova comes away with a big win against the nationally
ranked Tars and gets them to 2-3 in the conference and 6-9 overall.

Ines Teuma is the Tars leading scorer this season as she is averaging 10.7 ppg and pulling down 8.3
rebounds/game. Jessica Pressley continues her hot shooting from the outside, hitting 42.9 percent from
behind the arc and is averaging 10.4 ppg.

A couple key stats for the Tars this season is their ability to get to the charity stripe this season. The Tars
are outscoring their opponent by an average of 16.8 points/game. The Tars also outrebound their opponent
by an average of 9.9 rpg a game.

The Tars look to get back on track as they have only lost twice in the past 24 games dating back to last
season. The last time Rollins lost two games in a row dates back to last season when they lost back to
back games to Florida Southern and Eckerd.
