23-25, 25-12) victory over the Rollins volleyball team in a

pair of Tars' attacking errors. Rollins came within five points,
but eventually suffered the eight-point loss at 25-17.
After the intermission, Rollins made significant changes to its
line-up, which included freshman Phoebe
Corder switching from the libero to an outside hitter.
Freshman Karin
Barborikova assumed the libero duties.
The move paid off for the Tars as they captured the third frame,
25-23. Despite only hitting .143, the Tars managed to hold the
Knights to .080 attacking percentage to claim the victory. Hartman
led the Tars with five kills, while the new outside hitter, Corder,
collected three.
Trailing 5-9, Rollins used back-to-back kills from Vyborny and
Hartman after cutting the Knight's lead to three to even the match

the Tars, which included kills from Hartman and Corder, tied the
match at 18. Neither team would break away from the other as they
found themselves tied at 23. After a service error from the
Knights, a Vyborny kill secured the victory.

secure the match with a 25-12 victory in the final frame.
