2017 (Junior): Member of the USA D-2 Volleyball Team – Brazil Tour 2018… Fall Athletic Director’s Honor Roll… Finished 18th in the SSC in digs per set, and 15th in total digs… led the Tars in digs on the season… saw time in all 27 matches, and all 102 sets… earned 74 kills for a kills per set percentage of .730… notched 42 assists, and 13 service aces… amassed a team best 312 digs, averaging 3.06 per set… put up eight total blocks… tallied a season best 12 kills against Lynn University on November 17… earned two double-doubles on the year… notched double digit digs in 20 matches… amassed a season best 19 digs on September 15 against Florida Tech… put up a season best three blocks on November 4 against Florida Southern.
2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in 20 matches for the Tars, including 67 sets… Had 144 kills on the season for a kills per set ratio of 2.15… Tallied 12 assists on the year for an assists per set of 0.18… had a career high in digs with 21 against Palm Beach Atlantic (11/04), Contributed eight blocks on the season… picked up season highs in kills with 17 against Florida Southern (11/8) and another season high with 21 digs against Palm Beach (11/4) with 21… amassed five double doubles
2015 (Freshman): Ranked 9th in the SSC in digs with 400 digs, and ranked 9th in digs per set with 3.60…Appeared in 30 matches and started in 30 matches, including 108 sets played…Had 226 kills and hit .117 this season with an average per set of 2.09…8 matches with double-digit kills…Had a career-high of 15 kills vs. Embry Riddle (9/22)…Second on team with 392 digs this season with an average per set of 3.63…19 matches with double-digit digs…Had a career-high of 24 digs vs. Valdosta (9/29)…Had 7 double-doubles this season with a season high of 11 kills and 19 digs vs. Sioux Falls (9/5)…Contributed 43 blocks with an average per set of 0.40…Ended the season with 17 aces with an average per set of 0.16
High School: Attended Dr. Phillips High School, where she helped lead the Panthers to the Metro conference championship....Her freshman season the Panthers advanced to the Regional Semifinals, in her sophomore year Dr. Phillips went to the Regional Finals and her senior year the Panthers advanced to the Regional Quarterfinals....Sawyer was named to the All-Metro First team her junior and senior seasons....Named the 2012 best offensive player and team MVP in 2013 and 2014...Against Oviedo Sawyer had a career-high 35 kills...Played for the Orlando Volleyball Academy and the 2013 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships where Sawyer made the All-Tournament Team while also participating in the Girls 16 & Under USA Tournament..
