Cameron Stevens

Rollins Head Volleyball Coach Mika Robinson announced the hiring of Cameron Stevens as an assistant coach on February 19, 2025. Stevens joins Rollins from UCF, where he served as an assistant coach for the Knights during the 2024 season.

Stevens spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons as an assistant coach at High Point University, where he helped lead the Panthers to consecutive Big South Tournament Conference Championships. In his two seasons with the program, HPU recorded two 20-win seasons with overall records of 24-7 (2022) and 23-8 (2023).

After going 14-0 during the 2023 conference regular season and recording the program's longest consecutive 3-0 sweeps in conference play (12; Sept. 22-Nov. 3), HPU defeated Winthrop 3-2 in the Big South Championship to earn an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament. Stevens helped guide seven players to earn All-Conference awards and an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention for Dylan Mayberry as she became the first player in HPU and Big South history to be selected twice in their career as an All-American.

During the 2022 season, HPU went 23-10 overall and a 14-2 conference record. High Point won the Big South regular season title for the third season in a row and went on to sweep Campbell 3-0 in the Big South Championship. Earning an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, High Point made its sixth appearance at the big dance, playing the University of Southern California in the first round.

Before his time at High Point, Stevens was a part of three straight American Athletic Conference titles at UCF. He helped the Knights advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament twice during his first stint with the Black and Gold.

Stevens coached both boys and girls volleyball at Timber Creek High School from 2012-2021. He spent seven years as the head girls' coach, reaching the regional playoffs six times. He led the Wolves to the regional finals in 2014 and the regional semifinals in 2018. He captured district championships in 2014 and 2018, as well as a Metro Conference championship in 2018.

Leading the boys’ volleyball program, he won district titles in 2015, 2016, and 2022 in addition to Metro Conference championships in 2014 and 2015. Stevens led the boys’ team to a state Final Four appearance in 2015. He compiled a record of 188-64 as the Wolves head coach.

Stevens coached boys club volleyball with the Orlando Gold Volleyball Club from 2012-2016 and Ocean Bay Volleyball from 2016-2017. He coached at Piedmont Volleyball Club in North Carolina during the 2023-2024 club season. Stevens currently coaches at Oviedo Volleyball Academy.

He graduated from the University of Findlay in May 2011 with a bachelor's degree in digital media. He was a four-time all-conference and honorable mention All-America placekicker on the football team while at Findlay.

Stevens and his wife, Ginny, have three boys, Clayton, Bennett and Graham.
