Biography

Newcomer to the Tars with huge upside; gained experience and earned a spot on the Tars’ national championship tournament line-up. 

2009-10: Saw action in nine tournaments during the season, posting a 79.19 stroke average in 26 rounds. Played in each of the Tars final three tournaments of the fall, earning a pair of top-10 finishes. Tied for 26th place at the Nittiany Lion Invitational to begin her career. Shot rounds of 78-71 at the NSU Shark Invitational to finish in seventh place, followed by scores of 73-78-74 to finish tied for fourth at the Ross Resorts Invitational. Started the spring with an 11th place finish at the Kiwah Island Intercollegiate, shooting a two-round score of 154. Earned a spot on the Tars’ Sunshine State Conference tournament line-up, finishing 21st with a score of 238. Also played on the Tars national runner-up team, finishing T45th at the national championships, shooting rounds of 74-81-83-84 (322). 

High School: Five-year member of the Grappas Golf team, playing out of the Grappas Golf Club. Won the 2009 Club Championship, 2008 Junior Club Championship and District Championship and was the 2008 Skandia Junior Tour Champion. Also an excellent student, graduated at the top of her class of 600 students in high school. Honored with the Goethe Institute and the German Consulate for high proficiency in the German language. 

Personal: Born 2/24/90 in Dusseldorf, Germany…parents Edda Tonsdottir and Marc Vierstraete…majoring in International Business…after Rollins would like to become an LPGA Tour pro.
