2013: The junior started all 52 games at shortstop and held down the middle of the lineup for the Tars. She was named the SSC Player of the Week for the week of April 15th. The power hitter finished first on the team in home runs (10) and third in doubles (11) and RBIs (38). Her 10 homers ranked second in the SSC. In a 7-5 victory over Florida Tech on 4/13/13, Gipson was a perfect 3-for-3 and drove in five runs with three home runs, setting the Rollins record for home runs in a game and tying the record for total bases in a game with 12. One of the best defensive shortstops in the country, she had eight assists (2ndmost in program history) in a single game on March 28 vs Barry.
2012 (Seminole State College): As a sophomore, Gipson hit .325 with 66 hits, including 12 doubles and 13 home runs, with 55 runs batted in...scored 41 runs and also stole a base en route to being named first team All-State...was also named to the FCSAA State Championship All-Tournament Team
2011 (Seminole State College): Hit .326 as a freshman for the Raiders, with 45 hits, including seven doubles, with 19 RBI and 27 runs scored...was named team Most Improved Player as well as second team All-Conference.
High School: Attended Mt. Dora Christian Home and Bible in Mt. Dora, Fla...played primarily shortstop, leading her team to a district championship all four years...hit .449 as a senior with 35 hits, including six doubles, seven triples, and five home runs with 40 RBI...was named first team All-District all four seasons and team MVP twice...also took home team Defensive Player of the Year in both her sophomore and senior years.
