Biography

Coaches will look to Bernstein to take on the role of lead attack man and take the reins down by the cage. Will be one of the Tars'' biggest offensive threats.  Has an unbelievable knowledge of the game... extremely hard worker.

2008:  Played and started in all 15 contests for the Tars... Scored 14 goals and tallied 7 assists for a total of 21 points... tied for second on the team in goals and sits in third with overall points.  Bernstein took leadership in the offensive zone, and ran the show behind the cage to in order to settle the attack and make things happen.  Was a very influential player for the Tars, with a shot on goal percentage of 65.9%... scooped up 21 ground balls and caused five turnovers in defensive midfield action.  Quietly but passionately made his presence known in many facets both on the field and off the field as a team leader... scored first career goal against UCF in inaugural game on February 9, 2008, included an assist for two points in the first game... notched a career high three goals against Elmira on February 19, 2008... had a career high four points (2 goals, 2 assists) against Savannah College of Art & Design on February 15, 2008...

High School: Two year letter winner in soccer and lacrosse at Garden City High School.  Was a member of the National Top 10 High School Team throughout high school... Made the Principal''s List throughout high school...

Personal: Born March 16, 1987... son of Dan and Dale Bernstein... Majoring in Political Science.  Member of the Chi Psi Fraternity at Rollins.
