Enormous talent and one of the hardest workers on the team... coaches consider him one of the best athletes on the squad, and his hard work in the off season is apparent... came to the team as a goalie, but developed his defensive skills to become a big presence in the midfield.

2009:  Saw time in all 10 games, and started seven...  captain... tallied first career goal against Catawba on March 10, 2009... best game was against Catawba, with one goal and one assist for two points overall... recorded first career assist against Queens University of Charlotte on March 7, 2009... grabbed 28 ground balls and caused nine turnovers as a defensive midfielder... played an integral role in midfield transitions by using his speed and agility to his advantage... caused a career high three caused turnovers on March 10, 2009 vs. Catawba...

2008: Key factor for the Tars'' defense... started in all 15 games for the Tars as a long pole defender... led the team in ground balls with 36, and was second in caused turnovers with 13... had a career high game in ground balls with six against Belmont Abbey on March 28, 2008...

High School: Three year letter winner in lacrosse at Pope High School... captained his team both junior and senior year... helped his team to first round playoff action, and a second round appearance his sophomore and junior seasons... was selected as All-State Honorable Mention his junior year, and First Team All-American his senior year...  defensive MVP all four years... was a Scholar-Athlete throughout his career at Pope High School... holds a school record for most saves in one game (31), and holds the most career saves in school history...

Personal:  Was a JV4 State Champion in rowing at Rollins College his freshman year... member of the LEAD Team, part of the Rotaract Club, as well as an Athletic Communications Student Assistant... born July 30, 1988...  son of Neal and Debbie Cohen... has a brother, Allan... majoring in Studio Art.
