Kevin Hogan

Head Coach since: 2025-26
Interim Head Coach: 2024-25
Assistant Coach since: 2018-19

Kevin Hogan was named the head coach of Rollins men's basketball on April 10, 2025. Previously, he was named the interim head coach prior to the 2024-25 season, following a leave of absence from Tom Klusman. Hogan led the Tars to a 16-14 record, improving the Tars by seven games from the previous year. Two of his players, Beau Frericks and Emilis Butkus, were named 3rd Team All-SSC, with Frericks also earning Academic All-District recognition.

Klusman named the former Rollins standout guard as the Tars new assistant coach prior to the 2018-19 season.

"I'm very excited about Kevin joining the staff," said Klusman. "Kevin is one of the hardest working players we've ever had, and will use his coaching experiences in Division I to innovate some of the things we do."

A native of Pensacola, Hogan was part of the Tars program for five seasons and is currently 24th on the all-time scoring list with 1,295 career points. He is second all-time in program history with 270 made three-pointers and third in three-point percentage, hitting 44 percent from beyond the arc. Hogan was named SSC Honorable Mention his senior season in 2009.

Hogan was a part of two Sunshine State Conference regular season championship teams and won the 2006 SSC Tournament. Twice he led the Tars to the NCAA South Region Tournament. Hogan's teams posted a four-year record of 88-34, making him one of the winningest players in program history.

Hogan graduated from Rollins with a bachelor's degree in political science in 2007, before going on to earn his MBA in finance from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins in 2009.

Hogan's coaching stops include Florida A&M, Tallahassee Community College, William & Mary, and Austin Peay. Coaching basketball at the collegiate level runs in the Hogan family; his father, Don, was the head coach at the University of West Florida from 1993-2009, and was also an assistant at Coastal Carolina.

Kevin lives in Central Florida with his wife, Haley, and their three kids: Graham (14), Brooks (11), and Blair (7).Â
