Biography

Excellent hitter with plus power and good run-producing abilities ... has yet to play in the field with the Tars, seeing all of his time at designated hitter, but has experience at catcher and in the outfield.

2008: Earned the starting spot at DH in his first year at Rollins, starting 37 games and appearing in 39 ... All-Sunshine State Conference honorable mention ... hit .361 (.424 on-base percentage / .507 slugging percentage) with 12 doubles, three homeruns, 24 runs, and 44 RBI ... tallied 11 multi-RBI games to place second on the team ... also drew a hit-by-pitch pitch 10 times to lead the team ... named the Most Outstanding Player in the 60th Annual Rollins College Baseball Week ... hit a three-run double in his first start with the Tars, an 8-2 win over Bryant on 2/17/08 ... hit his first collegiate homerun and went 2-6 with three RBI in Rollins'' 17-4 Baseball Week win over Holy Cross on 3/3/08 ... went 4-5 with a homerun, three runs, and two RBI in Baseball Week action against Georgetown in a 17-4 win on 3/6/08 ... had four consecutive multi-RBI games from 3/19/08 to 3/26/08, highlighted by a four-RBI performance against Lincoln Memorial in a 10-9 loss on 3/26/08.

Previous School: Appeared in 39 games over two seasons with UCF, starting seven ... hit .235 in 17 at bats in 2007, scoring two runs and driving in two ... came off the bench to hit 1-2 with one run and two RBI in a 16-4 loss to Maryland on 2/16/07 ... batted .258 with one triple, six runs, and four RBI as a freshman in 2006 ... started at designated hitter on 2/26/06 and hit 2-3 with one run and one RBI in a 5-4 win over Stony Brook ... drew a hit-by-pitch six times in two seasons over just 56 plate appearances, leading to a .357 career on-base percentage ... landed on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll all four semesters.
