GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Rollins women's rowing team is set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Championship on May 29 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia. The championship regatta is hosted by Lake Lanier Olympic Park and the University of North Georgia.
The NCAA Division II Championship features six teams competing in both the Eight and Four with coxswain events over a 2,000-meter course. Racing was originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday, but inclement weather prompted adjustments to the championship schedule.
Rollins will race in Heat Two of the Eights alongside Cal Poly Humboldt and Seattle Pacific at 8:10 a.m., while the Tars' Four will compete in Heat Two against Jefferson and Cal Poly Humboldt at 8:26 a.m. on Friday. The regatta will continue Friday afternoon with the petite finals for the Fours and Eights scheduled for 3:15 p.m. and 3:24 p.m., respectively, followed by the grand finals at 3:48 p.m. and 3:56 p.m.
The Tars enter championship weekend after earning one of six spots in the national regatta field and will look to prove their spot amongst the rest of the top DII talent. For all updates and links, click
