Tars Selected to NCAA DII Rowing Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. – The NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Committee announced the field for the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Championship on Tuesday afternoon, with Rollins earning selection to the national championship regatta.

The championships will take place May 29-30 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia. The event will be hosted by the University of North Georgia and the City of Gainesville.

Rollins was one of six institutions selected to compete for the national championship alongside Cal Poly Humboldt, Embry-Riddle, Jefferson, Seattle Pacific, and Western Washington. Each institution will field one Varsity 8 and one Varsity 4 boat as part of the team championship format.

The Tars earned the No. 6 seed in the Varsity 8 competition and the No. 3 seed in the Varsity 4 race heading into championship weekend.

Rollins enters the NCAA Championship after another strong season that saw the Tars consistently ranked among the nation's top programs. The Blue and Gold recorded multiple victories throughout the spring, including strong showings against nationally ranked competition at the Sunshine State Conference Championship and the NCAA Division II Rowing Championships Preview regatta.
