WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 20, 2026) – Following a strong showing in conference play, Daylin Hejtmanek has been named the Sunshine State Conference Softball Player of the Week.
Hejtmanek powered the Tars to a 2-1 series win over Tampa, turning in a well-rounded performance at the plate and in the field. The graduate outfielder hit .400 across the three-game set, driving in four runs while scoring twice. She also added a stolen base and was flawless defensively, posting a perfect fielding percentage.
Hejtmanek and the rest of the Tars will be back in action on Saturday, April 25, at home for a doubleheader against Eckerd at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
