Panthers Best Tars

WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 1, 2026) – Rollins men's lacrosse fell to No. 13 Florida Tech on Wednesday afternoon, 16-11, at Cahall-Sandspur Field.

Neither side found the net on their opening possessions before Florida Tech broke through with the game's first goal. The Panthers carried that momentum throughout the quarter, adding four more while holding Rollins scoreless to take a 5-0 lead after one.

Rollins got on the board early in the second as Aaron Williams opened the scoring for the Tars. Florida Tech responded with a goal of its own before both teams went through a stretch of empty possessions. The Panthers added two more late in the half, while Logan McHugh closed the scoring for Rollins with an unassisted tally, sending the Tars into the break trailing 8-2.

Florida Tech extended its lead with the opening goal of the second half before Rollins began to chip away. Nate Paulo converted on a man-up opportunity off a feed from Brody Nelson, and Conor Sweeney followed a few minutes later, finishing a pass from Chad Bulera to keep the Tars within striking distance heading into the fourth.

Rollins continued to push in the final quarter, as Williams scored off a pass from McHugh and McHugh followed with an unassisted goal to cut the deficit to three with just over 10 minutes remaining. The Tars generated several quality looks down the stretch but were unable to convert, while Florida Tech regained control with a late scoring run to secure the 16-11 victory.

McHugh led the Rollins offense with three points on two goals and an assist, while Williams added a multi-goal performance. Charlie Metz paced the team with eight ground balls, with Owen Lammy and Brady Greco each collecting six. Lammy, Jack McCallum, and Alex Juhnke each caused two turnovers, while Greco went 14-for-18 at the faceoff X. In goal, Colin Selters and Nick Catino combined for six saves.
