WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 24, 2026) – The Rollins women's rowing team has been ranked No. 5 nationally in the latest Pocock CRCA Division II Coaches Poll, as announced Tuesday.
The ranking reflects a strong start to the 2026 spring season for the Tars, who opened the campaign with a four-for-four sweep at the TARS Regatta before continuing to show progress against top competition in the Rollins Invitational.
Rollins has consistently positioned itself among the top Division II programs early in the year, including competitive showings against defending national champion Embry-Riddle and fellow Sunshine State Conference opponents. The Tars' Varsity 8 has led the way, earning Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week honors earlier this season following a statement victory on Lake Maitland.
With several key regattas still ahead, Rollins will look to continue building speed and depth as the team prepares for the championship portion of the schedule. The next opportunity comes at the Sarasota 2K on March 28, where the Tars will face a strong in-state field to help prepare for postseason racing.
