Stoiberer and Quaynor Tabbed First Team All-SSC

Euro duo among the best in the conference

MELBOURNE, Fla. (May 5, 2025) - Sunshine State Conference men's tennis coaches voted seventeen student-athletes to the 2025 All-Conference teams. Florida Southern takes home Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year honors, while Embry-Riddle earns Freshman of the Year. Voting for the All-SSC teams was conducted among the league's men's tennis coaches.

Men's Tennis All-SSC History: All-SSC Teams | Athletes & Coaches of the Year

Rollins was represented on the list by the duo of Richard Stoiberer and Luke Quaynor, who were chosen by coaches for first team doubles. Against a grueling schedule that included eleven ranked opponents, the Tars tandem posted a 12-3 mark for the season, including 11-3 from position one.

They started the year with a bang, claiming two of three matches at the ITA National Indoor Championship as they faced three of the top eight teams in the country. They ended the year on a seven-match unbeaten streak, and defeated #3 Barry two times this season. This is the fourth All-SSC accolade for Quaynor, and third straight time being named a first-team doubles player in the conference. It is the second overall nod for Stoiberer.

Other Award Winners:
Athlete of the Year: Mario Garoz, Florida Southern
Freshman of the Year: Enrico Rosellini, Embry-Riddle
Coach of the Year: Rhett Rollyson, Florida Southern
