MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (April 7, 2025) – The 18th-ranked Rollins men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat on Monday at third-ranked Barry. The Tars are now 11-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play, while the Bucs move to 14-2 overall, 5-0 in SSC matches.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Doubles
- Barry grabbed the doubles point with wins on courts two and three, but Luke Quaynor and Richard Stoiberer battled hard to earn a 7-6 (5) win on court one for the Blue and Gold.
Singles
- The Bucs claimed points with wins at the top five singles positions, but Pietro Cappellaro rallied for a come-from-behind win on court six (3-6, 6-2, 6-4) to earn a point for the Tars.

The Tars will be back in action on Thursday, April 10th, when they visit 19th-ranked Florida Southern for a 3 p.m. contest in Lakeland.
