The remaining three matches all went three sets as the two teams battled hard for the match. The Firebirds reclaimed the lead by winning on six where Bangert outlasted
Phillip McMurray 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.
Fabian Gusic brought the Tars back to the fold with a nice comeback win on court two, earning a 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Brodie Sodersten.
With the match tied at three points each, the focus fell to court five as Emilio Seelbach and freshman
