FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (February 8, 2025) – The Rollins women's tennis team fell to 1-1 (0-1 SSC) on the season with a 6-1 defeat at No. 2 Nova Southeastern (3-0, 1-0) on Saturday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Doubles
- After NSU swept court three, Nancy Liu and Amina Taibi knotted things up with a 6-3 win on court one.
- Unfortunately for the Tars, Milla Falster and Polina Vlasova came up just short on court two, dropping a 7-6 (2) decision to cede the doubles point to the Sharks.
Singles
- Nova Southeastern picked up wins in five of the singles matches, with Liu earning the lone point for the Blue and Gold with a hard-fought 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 win on court one.
