ORLANDO, Fla. (February 5, 2025) – The Rollins women's tennis team kicked off the 2025 season with a 7-0 sweep of Edward Waters on Wednesday afternoon. The Wildcats drop to 0-2 with the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Doubles
Singles
- Only four singles matches were contested, as Edward Waters only competed with four athletes, giving the Tars wins on courts five and six via forfeit.
- Amina Abdulloeva picked up a 6-2, 3-0 (retirement) win on court one, while Stella Fruijtier cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory on court two.
- Nina Mitrofanova and Annie Sallick each secured identical 6-0, 6-1 wins on courts three and four, respectively, to make it a clean sweep for the Tars.

The Tars will be back in action on Saturday, February 8th, when they travel to Fort Lauderdale to face Nova Southeastern.
