WINTER PARK, Fla. (December 15, 2025) - The Rollins Men's Basketball team turned in an emphatic performance Monday night at the Alfond Sports Center, cruising to an 85–57 victory over South Florida Bible College. From the opening tip, the Tars set a high tempo and never looked back, showing efficient offensive execution and tenacious defense to secure a quality win that moves them to 6-4 on the season.
Rollins opened with an early burst as Marshall Klug scored back-to-back layups in the first minutes, energizing the crowd and establishing an early lead. Ryan Renfro's playmaking set the tone with assists on Rollins' first four baskets, helping open up space and control the pace.
By the midpoint of the first half, Rollins was clicking on all cylinders. Michael Niemann got the crowd going with a dunk on a fast break, followed by Jackson Gaffney knocking down a big 3-pointer and Jah Nze hitting a deep triple to stretch the cushion further. Even with a timeout from South Florida Bible, Rollins continued to push the lead into double digits by halftime.
Throughout the second half, Rollins' bench players contributed key rebounds, hustle plays, and scoring bursts that kept the scoreboard running. Mayson Quartlebaum collected eight rebounds and scored nine points in only 17 minutes of play.
Rollins limited South Florida Bible to just 30.9% shooting overall, stifling their offense with disciplined rotations and disruptive defense. The Tars meanwhile shot 52.8% from the floor and outrebounded the Rams 48-25.
Jah Nze led the Tars with 14 points.
Next up for the Tars is the annual trip to Las Vegas. Rollins will face off against Hawaii Hilo on Saturday, December 20 at 9:00 pm Eastern, followed by a matchup with Colorado Mines on Sunday, December 21 at 9:00 pm.
