LAKELAND, Fla. (January 31, 2025) – The Rollins women's swim team closed out the regular season on Friday with a 172-89 loss at Florida Southern.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Blue and Gold opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay, as Madison Patel, Taiylor Tegler, Lauren Diehl, and Amelia Kondal clocked a time of 3:53.21.
- Katie Canty took third in the first individual event of the day, posting a 10:51.00 in the 1000-yard freestyle.
- Elliot Fox finished second in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:57.57.
- Patel grabbed the first win of the day for the Tars, clocking a 57.78 in the 100-yard backstroke.
- Tegler earned a second-place result with a 1:06.14 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- Diehl took home the second win for Rollins with a 2:05.13 in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Kondal placed third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.10.
- Patel picked up a third-place finish with a 53.27 in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Lizzie Sander was the runner-up in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:08.60.
- Tegler touched the wall in 2:27.88 to finish second in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Fox came home third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.77.
- Diehl earned another win with a 57.75 in the 100-yard butterfly.
- The Tars closed the meet with a second-place 1:38.88 in the 200-yard freestyle relay, recorded by the quartet of Kondal, Diehl, Lydia Bohannon, and Patel.
