LAKELAND, Fla. (January 31, 2025) – The 20th-ranked Rollins men's swim team closed out the regular season on Friday with a 170-92 defeat at No. 16 Florida Southern.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Blue and Gold opened the meet with a runner-up finish in the 400-yard medley relay, as Luke Dinges, William Slowey, Evan McInerny, and Trey Carter clocked a time of 3:19.16.
- Seth Basinger took second in the individual event of the day, posting a 9:37.39 in the 1000-yard freestyle.
- Carter was third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.74.
- Dinges claimed second in the 100-yard backstroke in 51.18.
- McInerny picked up the first win of the day for the Blue and Gold, dominating the 200-yard butterfly in 1:46.44.
- Slowey took third in the 50-yard freestyle in 20.59 and then came back to take second in the 100-yard freestyle (45.65).
- Dinges earned another win for the Tars with a 1:51.98 in the 200-yard backstroke.
- Tully Njoroge touched the wall in 2:07.40 to take second in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Basinger placed third in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:44.01.
- Dinges finished as the runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 49.26.
- McInerny claimed his second win of the day with a 1:50.58 in the 200-yard individual medley.
- The Tars closed the meet with a second-place 1:24.08 in the 200-yard freestyle relay, recorded by the quartet of Basinger, Carter, Tucker, and Slowey.
