WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 10, 2024) - Women's tennis got back to their winning ways on Wednesday, playing in the first match in twelve days while defeating Eckerd 6-1. The Tars now stand at 5-9 on the year.
The first point of the day went to Rollins with a clean sweep of doubles.

Eve Wasil defeated Idiakez/Lindestaf on court three,
Nancy Liu/
Maria McKay defeated Misdorp/Soligo on court two, and
Polina Vlasova/
Erin Yaroshuk defeated Chavarria/Cole on court one. The score for each match was 6-3 in favor of the Tars.
Milla Falster was the first to claim victory in singles play. She made quick work of Julia Triska on court three, winning 6-2, 6-1. Next up was
Nina Mitrofanova on four, who swept her first set 6-0, and then won 7-5 in set two for a win over Maya Soligo.
Erin Yaroshuk clinched the point for Rollins with her win on five. She outlasted Maialen Idiakez with a score of 6-2, 6-4. That performance was followed by a 6-4, 6-2 win from
Stella Fruijtier against Catherine Cole.
Nancy Liu got the nod for court one, and she held her own in a tight matchup with Kylie Misdorp. After winning the first set 6-2, Misdorp bounced back and took set two 6-3. The two ladies battled to the very end, with Liu coming out on top 10-8.
Eckerd did manage to avoid the sweep with a win on court two.
Next up for the Tars is a road trip to South Florida. They will face Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, April 13 and Barry on Sunday, April 14.
