WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 11, 2024) - Women's Tennis dropped a home match on Monday afternoon, losing to the #32 Mississippi Choctaws 4-2. The loss moves Rollins to 4-6 on the year, while Mississippi improves to 5-4.

Polina Vlasova 6-4 to earn the first point of the match.Â
The Choctaws earned a second point fairly quickly when Liu had to bow out of her match against Emma Roberts on court two due to injury. The lead would then increase to 3-0 after a 6-3, 6-4 Mississippi win on court three.Â
Vlasova looked phenomenal on court one with a smooth 6-2, 6-0 win over Elyangelica Alas. Then, on court four, Ligay brought the Tars within one point after she dispatched Gabrielle Geolier 6-3, 7-5.Â
The match was sealed on court six when Anna Hudson defeated
Milla Falster 6-1, 6-3, giving the Choctaws a 4-2 win.Â
Rollins will face #13 Midwestern State in their next match on Wednesday, March 13. First serve is scheduled for 10:00 am.Â
